Our new favorite place! Best food, service and very clean! Bread pudding is to die for! Thankful it's a drive for us but worth every mile. Good music too! Chopped beef! Baked Bean! Only closed Mondays.

I have been here 3-4 times now, tried the sliced brisket, pulled pork, smoked turkey, ribs, burger, sweet potato waffle fries, hobo corn, green beans, fried okra, most of the desserts, and of course the stuffed jalapenos (an awesome appetizer). I have not tried anything I did not like. Also, they have two sauces that they keep in warmers that are excellent and add a fantastic taste to everything. I'm a fan of the spicy one. For the first time since being in Anna 3-4 years, I can say that we may now have a place that has food on par with places in the Mckinney, Allen, and Plano area. VERY promising. It's still a new place and there are definitely kinks to work out menu wise, atmosphere wise, but the most important part (the food) they have it right at JB's. Only constructive criticisms I could give are: Fix wobbly tables, TV's with sporting events on, and wax paper instead of the brown paper that the food is currently served on. I love the simplicity of the meat just thrown on a tray, that's my kind of eating, but the current paper just rips and gets soggy too easily. Other than the minor kinks that any opening restaurant has, JB's is definitely worth a try.
